Hello Namib users,
Today i'm making this post to give some news on Namib development and future. This post will be seperated in different section: new branding, website update and namib development and futures.
I'm going to start with the minor change, Namib is getting a new logo. The older was made in a rush and it's not really modern. So I made something that look better and nicer. Here's the two new version of the logo:

WEBSITE AND FORUM
The second is one of importants thing. It's concern the forum itself and Namib website, so for everyone who don't know .tk is a free domain. I "buy" this domains few years ago and now with the growth of Namib I wanted a dedicated domains for it. So the new domain is now namiblinux.org. I updated the website too, I removed unused page. That mean forum change too, the Meerkat Software forum use a paid forum(Xenforo) and it's become old. I wanted something modern and better, all section on the old forum is going to be close. The new forum is now located at: https://forum.namiblinux.org/categories. The wiki is now empty and it's now at: https://wiki.meerkat.tk.
With the change of website and forum, I decided to change the github too. The new Github is here: https://github.com/namiblinux. All repository is going to be moved one by one at the time.
NAMIB UPDATE AND FUTURE
Now the most important thing, where is the new update of Namib and what's the future of it. So the new update is coming in few week, max in a month. I'm actually working on it, and there's some information. The new update will provide new flavours, replacement for Namib settings manager, some bug fix and new packages. What about is future? So Namib in the future will have few change, for now Namib may be subject to modification and important change. There's nothing certain for now but it's sure there's going to have change.
Namib is now on distrowatch after month of waiting. You can now see and vote here: https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=namib
